Windows 7 ad-hoc networks IP problems

I am using Windows 7 home premium for a while and from the beginning I'm experiencing a problem with the ad-hoc peer to peer or computer to computer wireless networks (able to share internet). The problem is that when everything is set up to automatically obtain IP and DNS servers the computer registers on the network but without network access and of course without internet access too, after that I set up my IP manually and everything is ok, but the next day manually written addresses won't work and it successfully obtains an IP address. Is it a bug in the windows 7 home premium edition or there is a bug in my laptop wireless card ??

no its not a problem of your computer. its a setting of your DHCP service. ( DHCP service give you IP address for the computers in a network )  normally when you tick on obtain IP automatically your computer will search for a source who are offering IP address and settings for your computer. based on the behavior of your DHCP service offering device ( computer or may be a router, DSL router or other relevant device ) it will decide the time period for each IP address scope, for an example DHCP released time duration can be changed. for some DHCP servers 24 hours, for some 8 hours, you can manually adjust it. if you IP address released for 8 hours or something like that you will need to retake an IP address from your DHCP server. or you can ask your system administrator to add a reservation for your computer. then you can have single IP for everyday.

or if there is any trouble in your DHCP server you will get these kind of problem. when you assign a manual IP for your computer please be sure that same IP is not exist in the network. if it is the case you will notify that there is an IP conflict in your system and then after you will not able to surf internet and network resources.
