Windows vista older versions drivers setup problem

Well I've done some research on the internet about this article but I found no answers. I have installed windows vista operating system recently on my dell laptop windows XP based. Installing vista made no problem at all, but when I tried installing my drivers I failed. I asked Microsoft about that problem and they answered me that there is a compatibility mode so you can run setup based on a previous version of windows, but it wasn't true.

I mean I found that compatibility mode on my vista but when I insert my CD into the CD rom it says that the drivers aren't compatible with my software, I tried several times and never succeed. I think I have seen every page related to this topic but I never found a compatible version of my drivers, so I'm about to delete this vista thing and get back to XP. If there is no solution about this problem.

Hello Adamk,

I have an idea. I hope this could help you with your problem. Just follow these steps.

1 – Open the start menu or press window on your keyboard.

2 – Left click all programs and left click the "Windows Update".

3 – Make sure that your windows is genuine.

4 – Check for windows update. Let your windows update find the drivers and software that your computer needed.

5 – Let your windows update download and install the drivers and software that suitable for your operating system.

6 – Wait until your windows update done on installing the drivers and software for your computer.

7 – If your computer recommended you to reboot your computer? Then reboot your computer.

Windows vista older versions drivers setup problem

Hi,

Try to check the installer of the driver old version if its suitable to your windows vista and then try to check if it’s there an error or corrupted files from the drivers installer and then if it’s no result at all try to look other version in the net or maybe just simply download new version of your drivers for you windows vista and then just simply check the system if it’s working properly and then just simply scan the system if there an infected files from your system like viruses or maybe a spyware just check on that one avoid any error or maybe a problem to your system again.
