‘Email Read Notification’ and ‘Email Delivery Receipt’ in Blackberry

I want to activate ‘Email Read Receipts’ and ‘Email Delivery Receipts’ in the software of my Blackberry, but my IT personnel are unable to activate this function.

 

Please tell me whether such a facility exists in Blackberry or do I need to install some new software for this?

‘Email Read Notification’ and ‘Email Delivery Receipt’ in Blackberry

 

Hello Barack,

 

Well this is a basic feature of BIS (Blackberry Internet Services). You don't have to install any software in order to use this feature as this feature comes inbuilt in your Blackberry. All you have to do is, in the Home screen of your Blackberry Go to Messages. In that select Menu and then go to Options. In that, go to Email settings and a field will appear. Just select your email account there. Now go to Confirm delivery field and change it to YES and save it. In the same way you can also go to Confirm read field and change it to YES and save it.
