Setting up a host domains in CentOS

Experts! I need urgent help. How do I make host domains in CentOS? My first time, could someone give me a workaround procedure on this. I will really appreciate it guys. Thanks.

Setting up a host domains in CentOS

• Add the hostname entry to /etc/hosts. Use the format detailed here.

• If your hostname is "your_hostname", type hostname your_hostname at a command prompt to make the change effective.

• Define the hostname in /etc/sysconfig/network to make these settings consistent across reboots.

• Reboot the system or restart services that depend on hostname (cups, syslog, apache, sendmail, etc.)

Setting up a host domains in CentOS

Hello,

I think you can follow the steps in this link http://dev.antoinesolutions.com/apache-server/virtual-host. I think this is the easiest way to make host domains in CentOS.
