Is there a key combination to wipe out hard drive?

Can someone help me in the key combination to wipe out hard drive if there is one?  I mean a simple combination of keys just like Ctrl+C for copy.  I need to completely wipe all data on a hard drive.  My OS is XP 32-bit.  Thanks.

Hi,

No, there is no such shortcut key to wipe out or format hard disk. It's a lengthy process. If you want to delete all data from a hard drive you need to re-install the operating system. However, If you want to format drives other than C drive or where your operating system is stored. You may right click on the drive icon Ex Local disk D, E, F and from there select format option.

Make sure you don’t format Drive C (where Windows XP, is stored) without an OS CD.
