Hello experts,

How to remove window task manager useless apps? I would like to end or remove some unwanted and not working applications in my windows task manager but I am afraid of making a move when I am not really sure what to do. That is why I need your help to guide me on the process.

How to remove window task manager useless applications

Jayden,

Here's what you're going to do:

1. Open the windows task manager by pressing Ctrl-Alt-Delete, Ctrl-Shift-Esc or by right clicking on the taskbar and choosing the task manager option.

2. Click on the task you want to remove. Make sure that you will click only the unwanted apps you want to remove.

3. Then click the end task button. This will remove the task from the windows task manager and stop the application from running.

4. Close the task manager window.

How to remove window task manager useless applications

 

You need to make sure the programs you are closing aren't being used by other running programs; otherwise it can seriously mess up your computer. If the programs aren't responding, however, they need to be terminated.

 

1. Press CTRL + ALT + DEL.

 

2. Start task manager.

 

3. Any programs not running properly will say "Not Responding" next to them. End those programs.

 

If the same programs are continuously malfunctioning, try uninstalling and reinstalling them.
