A presentation on Graphical User Interface(GUI)

I teach Computers in a school and I have to prepare a presentation for them on GUI. Now this could be done in a lot of ways. I am following this order. The definition of GUI, its history, when was it first introduced and in which computer, who introduced it, why is it better than Command Line interface(CLI), the reasons for its increasing popularity. Can you suggest more points for my presentation?

A presentation on Graphical User Interface(GUI)

Another area of the graphical user interface (GUI) technology is the field of three-dimensional GUIs such as BumpTop. A user has the ability to manipulate windows and individual documents with real life movements.

There is also the Zooming User Interface (ZUI) which is a similar technology that will deliver the benefits of 3D environments without the usability disadvantages such as orientation problems and hidden objects. Hillcrest Labs introduced the zooming user interface for TV in 2006.
