Problem while loading the Mortal Kombat 4 game

Hello Experts,

 

I have a PC with the configuration of P4 2.8 Lga 775 / 512 RAM / Graphic card on-board INTEL 828656 and CREATIVE VOODOO 2 12M PCI.

With the OS WINDOWS XP PRO SP2

I have installed Fastvoodoo2 4.0xpge and needed fixing.

Mortal Kombat 4 giving me an error on loading then the game will exit.

"EXCEPTION C0000005 at address 1001F7CA"

Problem while loading the Mortal Kombat 4 game

Hi there,

 

Since you meet all the requirements, the problem is most likely in two files – GLIDE2x.dll and GLIDE3x.dll from FASTVOODOO2. They are not compatible with Mortal Kombat 4 and because of that you're getting the error.

 

Fixing this is easy – unpack the first glide drivers for windows 2000, find glide2x.dll and GLIDE3x.dll, copy them, go to windowssystem32 and replace those files with the new ones.
