Hi,

While trying to install Rollercoaster Tycoon 3 Platinum to my computer, I keep on getting this error message.

Error Code: -5009 : 0x8002802b

Error Information:

I am using Windows XP Service Pack 3 (2600) BT_OTHER 514.31889. But it will not give any error during installation of the same on other computers

Please make sure you have finished any previous setup and closed other applications. If the error still occurs, please contact your vendor: Atari.

Error Code (-5009 : 0x8002802b) has occurred while running the setup.

Dear John M Elliott,

It is happening because you are not using the required system that the game needs. You have to install another system to run the game, or you have to find an older version of the game to play. You have to keep in mind that all software and games have some requirements to run. If the system doesn't meet the requirements, it cannot run or open.
