What kind of security adapter integration is currently the most certified and supported by most  common kinds of directories such as Oracle Internet Directory, IBM Directory Server, Novell NDS eDirectory, Sun Java System Directory System  and Microsoft Active directory System.

Security Adapter for Database Authentication

Hi about security adapters,

The Siebel Business Applications contins the  security adapters that are based on the LDAP and ADSI standards, these are allowing customers to use LDAP directory products or Microsoft Active Directory (AD) for user authentication. LDAP or ADSI security adapter authentication have  the  benefits are, User’s authentication is external to database. The automated updating of the directory with the new and modified information of user entered through the Siebel Business Applications, user can interface by an internal administrator and delegated administrator or even a self registering user.
