How to use IE7, IE8 and IE9 on single machine

I have to frequently test the website behavior on different versions of Internet explorer. So I need to keep installing the version under test. Is there any way to have different versions of IE running on the same machine ?

How to use IE7, IE8 and IE9 on single machine

Hi, many websites provide a work around for this kind of problem by using the windows XP mode in an operational Windows 7 system, and  that may be a good solution for more then testing IE versions and compatibility with them . This is the link for this solution,

But i think that the best way to solve this problem is to use a program that will allow you to test all IE versions at one time, this program is IE tester and you can find it here :, it works like magic you test you webpage or application all in one time and in the same environment.

How to use IE7, IE8 and IE9 on single machine

Hello my dear,

In the case of Internet Explorer, you cannot install two different versions of the same thing. When you install an older version first, then the later version, the latest version will replace the older version, because in the system registry, both have the same registry key, so you cannot use two different versions. So, please keep in mind that you cannot install two or three different versions of Internet Explorer on the same machine. Three versions will not work, only the most recently installed program will work. Thanks.
