VGA not working on iPad

I have a 3^rd generation iPad and it has been functioning well until I installed iOS 8. My VGA cable has stopped working and whenever I connect to my 30 pin VGA adapter, I get an error that the iPad does not recognize the device. Has anyone faced a similar problem or knows how to fix this?

VGA not working on iPad

The problem you are facing is with the drivers. Once you updated to ios 8, some of the drivers that had been saved have been erased. To fix this, just update all drivers on your iPad and your VGA cable should work just fine. Alternative you can browse the internet and search for VGA drivers and install them.
