This article from Gizmag got me interested. There's a shirt that can monitor the medical condition of the wearer. How does the shirt do this without breaking the skin of the person? Is it really accurate? How much will it cost when rolled out in the market.

Hi Cristina,

I also heard a news about this shirt, this shirt can monitor or predict the health condition of the wearer, by means of analyzing on the sweat that is absorbed by the textile, since our sweat has some chemicals in it, it will check for some imbalance in it, but these are just an approximate analysis, as for the price not yet been circulated.

Hello Christina,
 
They named the shirt "Intelligent T-shirt". It was designed at "Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (UC3M). The shirt can remotely monitor your location, temperature, current position and location, activity level and heart rate.
 
It also includes a portable device which measures the body temperature and also their position may it be if they're walking, standing or lying down.
 
The shirt is also equipped with an alarm that monitors and notifies doctors or hospital staff when a patient's condition exceeds a particular margin.
 
Right at this point there hasn't been any commercial release of the said shirt.
