Taking screenshots in my ipod touch
How can I take a screenshot of an image using my Apple iPod Touch? Is it simultaneously pressing the home button and the power button?

Hi Miko David,
Yes, it is by pressing the home button and the power button. The other way around though.
Press and hold the power button first on your iPod and then quickly press the home button. You will usually hear a shutter or a sound and or your screen would blink once. 🙂
Screen capture is built in, in iPhone 3G. It has a special function for it. But for iPod touch or iPhone, you need to update your iPod or iPhone Operating System or firmware to version 2 or higher. If you have this version installed, you got it. You are able to do a screen shoot which is tantamount to print screen in your computer.
On your mark, or in the view of your screen you want to capture, hold the power or wake button for a seconds (don’t wait for the power off slide appears) then press the home button so quick simultaneously. Warning, holding the home button will reset your iPod to factory default and everything you have will be gone.
Capturing a snapshot of your current screen on your iPod touch is easy. First, go to the screen where you want to take a screenshot of. Next, press and hold the Sleep/Wake button on the top or side of your device. This will somewhat hold the screen for taking snapshot. Now, to take the screenshot, press the Home button. And that’s it.
The snapshot is automatically saved. To find the snapshot you created, navigate to the “Photos” app, “Albums”, and then tap “Camera Roll”. Your screenshot should be located here. This procedure can also be done on iPhone and iPad for taking screenshots.
