How do I upgrade ram in my Pentium ll?

I think as you stated that you have 512 MB RAM in your Pentium II is already rare I don't think if this Pentium type can use 512 of RAM. So if you will upgrade it to 2GB it is very impossible.
If you want to use 2 GB you need to have at least Pentium 4 or D and still also depends on the Motherboard of your computer. But if you really need to have that spec of 2GB RAM, why you don’t replace your old PC with new one, It is worth if you are going to use the latest computers now, Getting higher RAM will not be a problem for the latest model.
Hope this Help.

Hi,
It is possible to upgrade upto 1GB. Because of most of these PCs limits up to 512 MB. But you can't upgrade it to 2GB. But it is possible if your Motherboard supports 2GB. It depends on your PC Motherboard. If you have more RAM slots you can add RAM to upgrade your PC. So first you check your Motherhood that you can add additional RAMs on your board. If it is possible you can add 2 ,3 RAMs together and increase your system speed.

Hello Dear,
As you know, only SDR RAM runs on the Pantium II. It has two cuts on the connecting edge. It is very simple to upgrade your RAM. First, check the BUS Speed of your existing RAM, and go to the hardware shop and get a new RAM of the same bus speed. After that, open your computer case and put the RAM in the slot.
It will upgrade it. I hope this helps you understand. Thanks.
