Hello,
I am using Windows 7 operating system. I also using Kaspersky antivirus but today morning while I log on my PC then I got a message “win32” file missing.
How do I solve this problem?

This is a common problem that happens to a windows Pc. The easiest solution for the problem is to find the missing file and replace it to its resident place. And to do so you have to first insert your windows installation disk into its optical disk reader. Then open the Command Prompt form Start>All Programs>Accessories. Type “sfc/scannow” and “Enter”. It will find , replace and repair if needed all the system files required.
If this solution feel you little clumsy you can re-install the OS.
And everything will be fine.
Where do I find “win32” file?
I’m not sure what file is really missing because “win32” can point to any files on your computer that launches at startup. The “win32” file missing can be “win32.dll” or “win32k.sys”. If the error appears while Windows is booting, you probably need to run the Windows File Checker tool or the SFC tool to track and fix any corrupt system files.
The main function of the Windows File Checker utility is to scan all protected system files on the system drive or drive C and replaces incorrect versions with the correct Microsoft versions. To run the tool, in Windows 7, click “Start”, “All Programs”, “Accessories” then right-click “Command Prompt” and select “Run as administrator” to launch an elevated command prompt.
In the command prompt window, type without quotes “sfc /scannow” then hit Enter. The utility, most of the time, requires to access the necessary files in the “dllcache” folder located in “C:\WINDOWS\system32\dllcache”. If the required files are not found, it will prompt you to insert the Windows 7 setup disc. Insert the Windows 7 setup DVD on your optical drive and continue.
When the utility is finished, restart your computer and see if the problem is fixed. On the other hand, if the error appears when your Kaspersky antivirus is loading, just try reinstalling your antivirus. That’s the only way to fix it.
