I have heard about the threading technology support by Intel in their core processors, What is the threading maxima in the i3 core processor? What is the maximum level 3 cache that their processors can support. Is it possible to interchange this with a Pentium 4 processor? Are their compatible?

Hi,
The Hyper Threading (HT) technology supported by intel processors 32 bit and 64 bit. It improve the speed and functionality by doing more simultaneous tasks without slowing down the system. It also provide faster responses. The threading maxima is 3 for intel i3 processor. The 3 MB L3 cache which supported by intel i3 processor however Pentium 4 processor having 2 MB cache L3 memory.
