How to connect an HDMI output to VGA

I have a computer screen and wanted to connect the HDMI port to a VGA, is there a converter that can connect this connection? Is there a HDMI splitter like that of the VGA to support this connection? I want to stream High quality HD videos from my laptop onto the screen

How to connect an HDMI output to VGA

Yes . There is a cable called HDMI to VGA which probably take 5-10 dollar in any shop you can use that . Or check the computer monitor, now -a-days latest monitors have the HDMI port and also VGA port so don't even need any extra converter for it . Thank you for your consideration.
