Is there a place for data scientists in NPC?

I work as a data scientist. I am interested in helping a non-profit company, such as a research institute (public or private) or a company that's taking care of specific things such as environment, public health, social care. Even Wikipedia could be interesting. Does anybody know is it possible to get hired by non-profit organizations?

Is there a place for data scientists in NPC?

Hello Any!

There are several groups hiring Data Scientists. One is the ShareProgress in san Francisco, California (CA). They help different organizations achieve goals by using data and technology. They help organizations like Sierra Club, CREDO., Compassion & Choices, Greenpeace and many more. Theses are companies with good social mission. Share progress also won different political victories in United States. I believe this also includes the campaign with President Obama. It is possible to get hired by this organization. They posts available job openings in their own site. You can check available jobs at their site SHAREPROGRESS.org.
