Windows XP has its own security, so must be take it in consideration that just the default settings before the modification of security settings. Three fundamental levels are available these are granted to users through their membership in the administrative groups or users and power users. In case of administrative group the most secure option is the adding users in the user group.
This is due to default permission allotted to this group which are not allowing their members for the modification of the other user’s data or operating system. It also not permit to successfully run the legacy apps. So just the members of the user group are just guaranteed those are able to run the programs having certified for these windows. Yup it does have its own but it is only the firewall but there are optional protection that can be downloaded on the internet and for free as long as your XP is genuine.
Protection 1:
Download the Microsoft Malicious Software Removal Tool. This removes all of the malicious software installed in the computer.
Protection 2:
Windows Defender, almost same as a firewall but it is much stronger.
Protection 3:
Microsoft Security Essentials, you can try downloading it and install it. If you have this software it does what the Windows Defender does so no need to download that software. Also it will act as your anti virus.
