AIM Setup File Error: Microsoft Visual C+ + Runtime Library
This kind of problem may occur for two cause they are:
1. Component of run time of visual c++ libraries are missing.
2. Software problem. First talk with the first one if the component are missing OK then you have to go to this page: Link to download : Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable Package (x86) it will install automatically and can’t realize that.
If the software still exist than try another thing: take a clean boot check it can be a software conflict issue.
For clean boot: visit this site there you will show how to do it :

Hi,
The message or error that pop-up to your screen is there a corrupted file detected in installing the Microsoft Visual C++ Library. The possible solution is just simply retry to download the Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library look or search in the website the correct software that be installed properly to your application, and then may other solution is install the Error Repair tools to your system to fix the error to your system, just simply scan the application and then attempt to repair the founded errors to your system, After that just simply scan the system if there an infected files from the viruses or spyware to your system.

I think the program you are installing requires a version of Microsoft Visual C++ be installed. In this case, install a version of Microsoft Visual C++ before installing your application. Since you did not mention what version is required, try downloading one of the following then see if you can install your program:

- Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable Package – this is for 64-bit. It supports Windows XP, Windows Vista, and Windows Server 2003.
- Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Service Pack 1 Redistributable Package – this is for 32-bit. It supports Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows Server 2003, Windows Server 2008, and Windows Server 2008 R2 including Windows 2000 Service Pack 4.
