SAS Add-In for Microsoft Office – InstallShield Wizard Error

Hello, TechyV!

I am installing SAS Add-In for Microsoft Office 2.1 on my laptop, OS Windows Vista Home Basic. This error came up on the InstallShield Wizard Prompt.

I have read that this works on Windows XP, should there be any reason why it should not work on Vista?

Please help, thank you!

Click Ok to exit the Setup Wizard

SAS Add-In for Microsoft Office – InstallShield Wizard Error

Good day! 

There could be two reasons why your installation does not work. First is the Operating System that you are using, there are applications that do not run in Microsoft Vista and run in Microsoft XP.

This is because these applications are designed for XP and thus they use some components of XP which may not be present in Vista. Second is maybe because of the version of your SAS add-in.

There is a specific version of SAS for a specific version of Microsoft Office. The version of your Add-in is only applicable to the previous version of Microsoft Office.

You can search the internet for the compatible version of SAS.
