Cannot send data from UNIX to Windows

I am trying to make a small network in my home.

I have two computers one with windows 7 and another with UNIX.

I could successfully to send data from windows to UNIX but the problem that I could not to send data from UNIX to windows.

So please anyone tell me what is the problem and how to fix.

Cannot send data from UNIX to Windows

Hello!

I understand your problem and there is an alternative way of sending files from UNIX to WINDOWS.. it is proven and tested and you could try this solution:

1. Download WinSCP in here https://winscp.net/eng/download.php . Choose the Windows installer so that you have all the required binaries.
2. Install the WinSCP into your Windows Operating System. Accept all default settings and Install
3. You must have a user account on your UNIX operating system. e.g ( Unix Username: and Unix Password: )
4. Get the IP address of your UNIX operating system. if you don't know the IP address, Log-on to your UNIX operating system with your username and password then run the terminal application and put this command: "ifconfig -a" to get the IP address. Now in the terminal screen you can see the IP address of your UNIX operating System
5. Run the WinSCP on windows and fill in the boxes namely the: 

• Hostname or IP= Put your UNIX IP address here
• Username= Put your UNIX username
• Password= Put your UNIX password

    6. Click Ok and if anything pops up don't worry, just click ok

 

    7. After you clicked ok, a new window will pop-up and on the right side is your UNIX operating system, the left side is your windows operating system.

 

You can now transfer files by just dragging files to both sides from left to right and vice versa
