Hello,
I encountered an error message when I try to install Native Instruments download product on a Mac OS 10.8 (Mountain Lion) system. It could not be open because it is from an unidentified developer. Any help would be really appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
Error:
“Audio 2 DJ 2.4.23 Installer Mac.mpkg”
Can’t be opened because it is from an unidentified developer.
Your security preferences allow installation of only apps from the Mac App Store and identified developers.
“Audio 2 DJ.2.4.23 Installer Mac.mpkg” is on the disk image”Audio_2_DJ_242_Mac_p.dmg”. Google Chrome.app downloaded this disk image today at 12:17 from co.native-instruments.com
Audio 2 DJ installation error on MAC OS 10
Hi,
the errors are not usually that easy to understand but this is a very beautifully put error.
The first half is the error the second half tells what caused this error.
As you can see from the error that you have set security preferences so that your PC can only install apps from the Mac App store and no where else.
As the software has no developer signatures so the system considers it to be harmful and may cause error. So the system does not allow its installation.
To solve this,
1. Please change your security preferences. To do that, click the gear icon on the doc at it will open system preferences then choose Security pane.
Then do some working under all the three tabs.
Once the security preferences allow the installation of apps other than from the Mac app store, This problem would be solved. Hope you had your answer! 🙂
