I can not print anything on the Internet Explorer 9 Why?

I can print any webpage in Mozilla Firefox, but Internet Explorer gives me a error and nothing is displayed.

How can we fix it?. Is this a know issue with IE9

There some things that if you don't mind you will check for me that is if your video card or video drive is outdated or corrupt, because In case it is corrupted or outdated then it might be the cause of the printing errors that you get. Check whether you have printing permission assigned to you because without the permission you might never be able to print using explorer 9. It may also be that you have the protect mode enabled for the internet security zone. Check that all this are not hindrances to your printing.


Note that the printing button also belongs to the command's bar that you may not have enabled by default IE9. Try to activate the command bar on the menu bar by clicking view then toolbar  then command bar. You can have the menu bar expressly by pressing the Alt key. You can also get to print a webpage by clicking the tools button and the print to do it directly click the right mouse button then choose print.

This was a common issue with IE9 and Microsoft had to come in hand to try resolving the issue. Several reasons could be causing it which includes:

Printer permissions not granted by the administrator

With all the Internet Explorer windows closed, right click on the Internet Explorer and select option Run As Administrator. Navigate to a given website and try printing again

Outdated and/or corrupt printer drivers

Ensure you have the latest and working printer drivers. If check if there is an update for the given printer drivers and update accordingly

Printing with Protected mode disabled

To disable the protected mode select Tools from Internet Explorer menu bar

Select Security tab and uncheck the option (Enable Protected Mode)

I have Microsoft Internet Explorer 8 and I can launch the print feature though I don’t have a printer. What I have is a PDF printer and an image printer. If you can print using Mozilla Firefox but not with Microsoft Internet Explorer, try reinstalling Microsoft Internet Explorer. Click “Start”, “Control Panel” then “Add or Remove Programs”. On the next screen, on the left pane click “Add/Remove Windows Components”.

In “Windows Components Wizard”, look for “Internet Explorer” and uncheck it. Click “Next” then follow the instructions.

Uncheck Internet Explorer

After this, close Control Panel then restart your computer. After booting, go back to “Windows Components Wizard” and check “Internet Explorer” to install it back. Try printing again on the browser and see if it works.
