Workings behind the 3ds Camera

I just got a Nintendo 3DS and the feature that excited me the most was the 3D camera. Once I got the device I saw that it was not limited to the games but the camera could also be used to take 3D pictures. I was wondering how this is possible. I know that there are 2 cameras at the back but how does it work in details?

Workings behind the 3ds Camera

Hello David!

I still remember the old Nintendo Game Console that I use to borrow to my sister. Before I can borrow it I need to first pass my exams with ceiling grade of 95 percent and above. Going back to your main concern there are 3 cameras in this console. The first camera or internal camera is situated if you’re facing the console you can see it on the upper part of the flip-screen. The other cameras (two (2) cameras) known as the 3DS cameras are situated on the opposite side of internal camera. Before you take a photo to render 3DS picture you must activate the small switch the 3DS Logo. That switch is a small piece of metal that you can slide up (to turn on 3DS) and slide down (to turn off 3DS). By pushing key “A”, triggers “L” and “R” to capture simple or 3DS photo.
