To set a timer for each slide, there are two ways in which you can do it. To set it up manually, in Microsoft Powerpoint go to the Slides tab and select the slides you need to set timings for. Go to the Slide Show menu and click the Slide Transition. Select Automatically after check box under Advanced slide and enter how many seconds you want the slide to appear on screen. You need to do these steps for each slide that you need to have timings on.
If you want to record timings while you rehearse, click Rehearse Timings on the Slide Show menu to start the show in rehearsal mode. To move to the next slide you click on the advance button and click Yes when you reach the end of the presentation.

To configure the time delay between each power point slide, please do one of the following:
Set timings manually :
Repeat the following process for each slide you want to set the timing for.
1. On the Slides tab in normal view (view: A way of displaying the contents of a presentation and providing the user with the means to interact with it.), select the slides you want to set the timing for.
2. On the Slide Show menu, click Slide Transition.
3. Under Advance slide, select the Automatically after check box, and then enter the number of seconds you want the slide to appear on the screen.
Tip
If you want the next slide to appear either when you click the mouse or automatically after the number of seconds you enter — whichever comes first — select both the On mouse click and the Automatically after check boxes.
