Active X controls are referred to the small programs which are sometimes known as add ones are basically used on internet. They are known for enhancing the browsing experience as they allow animation or they even help with tasks like installing security updates.
K-FTP: It is an Active-X component for Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0. It helps in downloading and uploading files to the FTP server from the Visual Basic 6.0 application. This just needs a code of a few lines. The developer’s package of K-FTP consists of help file and a sample application which together completes the FTP client source code. It features active and passive functions; it holds the ability of listing the content of remote directories. ActiveX DLL: It is another Active X control used in Visual Basic 6.0 that is used for creating the biometric face recognition security of people for windows. It happens with the help of either VC++ or Visual Basic. Advance face recognition is done with the help of DLL using two different functions. These include train and recognize. This seems to use the neural net back propagation algorithms along with some more artificial intelligence tools that are added for image optimization. A wide range of properties allows a good control over fonts, colors, layout, and formatting. User Manager: It consists of simple objects for the creation, deletion, management and enumeration of the user accounts, servers, groups, and domains. One can easily change any of these group or user properties. It works excellent with Visual Basic.
