I experienced this error message a few days ago on my computer and for this reason I am sharing, how can you fix the problem – it can strike Windows 7, or XP computers.
BOOTMGR denotes to Boot Manager, and it is an important system file of Windows . This file can not be used if this is compressed. To boot up your windows, this file should be uncompressed. To solve this problem, you need a bootable installation cd.
First, log into Recovery Console in the command prompt .
Then, write fixmbr and hit Enter. Hit y in order to accept warning and then proceed:
Then, write fixboot and hit Enter. Hit y in order to confirm and then proceed:
Then, write Exit and hit Enter in order to restart your computer.
Hopefully, this answer is helpful, easier and clearer steps to fix the problem.
