My printer HP 3740 always blinking
Hi Bleem,
If your HP 3740 printer has a problem regarding your indicator which is the light that always blink then it should be resolved.
To make your printer performs well you can always reboot it.
How to reboot your printer? You have to d the following:
-
In your search BOX you have to click START.
-
Then a black window will appear which you can type into.
-
Then you have to type the following line and press ENTER key after each every line.
STOP NET SPOOLER
START NET SPOOLER
Now, check your printer and the problem or light blinking should be gone.
Hope this might help you,
Thanks,
Ayessa

Hi!
If you already tried rebooting your computer and unplugged your printer but still cant print try these following suggestion:
1. Try to open the printer cover and check if there is a torn paper.
2. Check if USB cable from computer to printer.
If this doesn’t work, try to remove your cartridge and try to install them one at a time to check if one of the cartridges is damaged. You may try to clean the cartridge head with soft cloth and re-install. Now if still doesn’t work you have to purchase cartridge.

In HP DeskJet 3740 printer, the power light or LED power indicator might blink or flash or be off. When you encounter a blinking LED power indicator, it means the printer is in an error state or requires maintenance. This problem is also accompanied by a message. When the power light blinks and you receive the message “Cover is open”, it means the cover of the printer is open.
To fix this, just close the cover. When you receive the message “Printer is out of paper”, it means the printer no longer has paper. To fix this, open the cover then lower the paper tray. Flip the paper tray extender down so it is even with the rest of the paper tray.
Press in on the tab on the top of the paper width guide then slide the paper width guide as far to the left as it will go. Next, take a small stack of plain white paper then lightly fan it to make sure the paper is not sticking together.
Insert the paper to the paper tray then slide the paper width guide inward to rest against the edges of the paper. Close the cover then see if it works. If none of these messages appear on your screen, go to HP Deskjet 3000 Printers – Blinking Power Light then look for the message.
