Unable to install game ‘darkest-dawn-setup.zip’ after downloading it

Hello,

I downloaded a game, but for some reason, I was unable to install it.

The game I got was the darkest-dawn-setup.zip.

I used the CRC tool and the zip file is fine, but when I click "Unzip now…",  the following message appears instantly.

WCS Setup 1.0.2.7795 ZIP Check & UnZip 1……

UnZip done

result      : UnZip has FAILED!

time        : 0 sec.

rc           : 9

                                  OK

I tried 7zip and seems a little better it decompresses darkest-dawn-setup.zip OK, but when I click darkest-dawn-setup.exe, the following message appears about a quarter of a way through the install.

Error 23 while opening this file:

Data error (cyclic redundancy check).

It happened to me that game in 7zip too big then it is unable to unpack when you pack it look good but unpacking it isn't good find another download.

I think you just have to download the file again and hope that the file or the installer will work on your next download attempt. If after downloading it again it still has a problem with the installer file, try downloading it from a different website.
