Multi-channel architecture is a technology that increases the transfer speed of data between the RAM and memory Controllers. Thus, It will multiply  the data rate by exactly the number of channels present. How does this Multi-channel works? Is there any algorithm that is being used in order to implement this?
What is the Multi-channel memory algorithm?
Hi …
This is a new technology use in today’s computers. The exact thing that is doing is double the bandwidth of the channel as processer wants. Actually in stop the bottle neck problem that can be happens in the data transferring channels.
In the modern motherboards that allow the duel channel technique you can see the slots in different colors. The modules that are we using should not be identical. But there are some similarities.
It will not increase the data rate of transferring; it increases the bandwidth of the channel. So processer can handle more work load than before.
