Pop up while trying to launch the Origin Install

Hi all,

This is not strictly a BF3 problem more related to the origin install.

I have tried on 5 different occasions to install it using different versions of the program, but the same Popup appears when trying to launch.

Origin.exe – Bad Image

C:Windowssystem32MSVCR100.dll is either not designed to run on

Windows or it contains an error. Try installing the program again using

the original installation media or contact your system administrator or

the software vendor for support.

                                                                                       OK

I'm have windows 7 on a decent machine. 

Any thoughts and suggestions is highly appreciated.

Pop up while trying to launch the Origin Install

 

You can do one thing, just restore your system to earlier condition if it is not possible for you then follow these steps which will allow you to install the origin in your system. Try downloading the latest Microsoft visual c++ 2010 either 64bit or 32bit which ever supports for you then try installing the same on your computer. First uninstall all the previous version of VC++. Reboot the system and install it in your system. Then try launching the origin again it wont show any errors to you. If it shows errors then try downloading only that particular dll and replace in system32 folder. Mostly this will resolve the issue.
