Facebook reports a ‘malware’ infection

Hi! Whenever I attempt to log-in to Facebook, I receive the following message

‘It looks like your computer is being affected by malware. We’ll help you fix the problem to keep your account secure and prevent malware from spreading to friends. Malware is software that tries to steal personal information and causes problems when you use Facebook. Clicking or sharing links that contain spam can give your computer malware.’

My computer was infected by a virus long time ago but it was cleaned from all sort of viruses properly. But why does my Facebook account still show the same message of 'Malware' when I attempt to log-in? One thing that I tried is creating an another Facebook account and when I log in from that account from the same computer, there is no message related to malware. This is actually strange. I have tried everything I know to regain access to my primary account with no success. Does anyone have some advice? Thank You!

This is happening because Facebook remember the malware which were previously there. But as you have removed the malware so you will be able to use the account.  To solve this issue first clear all the saved cookies, browsing history, cache of your browser.

After that restart your browser and open the Facebook. If you see the same error then click on OK and continue you will be able to use your account.
