License: problem is available – Kaspersky

Hi experts,

I want to update anti-virus but in a number of cases, I get this message: "License: problem is available" may appear.

Moreover I find the error message "Black list of licenses is corrupted" is showed in the Security troubles window.

Nut you can run the Security Problems window by selecting on the display sign in the central application window.

I need to solve this.

Please help.

One of the possible reasons is incorrect update. Protection is disabled.

Protection components

Kaspersky Anti-Virus Self-Defense is disabled

In case of a virus attack the application may be rendered inoperable.

We recommend you enable Self-Defense.

Hi,

Follow the procedure that follows to solve that problem:

• On your computer, you will need to check the system date/time settings and make sure they are correct.
• Go to Date/Time by right clicking on the time in the task bar of your screen, and then choose adjust date/time.
• Next you will need to go to Settings > Update > Settings > Update source > Proxy server >  you will have to disable the proxy server > and the click ok.

In the Kaspersky window, you will need to locate Reports, and then select Detailed report, and thereafter Update, and then check the detailed report to see if you might get a clue of the problem.

In order to fix this issue, perform the following actions:

1. Disable the application Self Defense
2. Make sure that you can see hidden files and folders in Windows Explorer (from Menu Bar: Tools > Folder Options > View tab > Show hidden files and folders)
3. Delete the file blst2-0607g.xml located in: C:Documents and SettingsAll UsersApplication DataKaspersky LabAVP11Bases (for OS Windows XP) and: C:ProgramDataKaspersky LabAVP11Bases (for OS Windows Vista/7)
4. Open the main application window
5. Go to My Update Center
6. Click Start Update
7. Exit the application (from the Taskbar -> right-click -> exit)
8. Run the application again
9. Enable Self Defense

That should solve the problem you're having. If not try uninstalling an re-installing it.

Cleaning the registry keys as you do so.
