QLDB2009 Network – InstallShield Wizard

Hi Experts,

Have a look at the screenshot below. I received the error message while installing MSI silent. It is indicating the long path to short path failure in a directory.

However, I installed MSI manually; running it from the same location as manual and it was working well.

Have you nay idea for the error message? Please help.

QLDB2009 Network – InstallShield Wizard

Hello Jhon,

To resolve the issue that you are getting, you will need to try tricking the installer by renaming the installation folder while the installer is still in the "registering product" phase. When you do that, the contents of the folder will be left intact and the program will work just fine. Note that is just a temporary solution until the installer gets fixed.
