Hello everyone! Since we all know that selfies from smartphones have become very common these days, now we see selfie sticks as well which can be used to take picture of a big group. My question is how does a selfie stick work? Since it is so generic and it can be used by every smartphone, how does it actually communicate with the phone and make sure that the picture is taken at the right time? I mean if there is a button in the stick, what exactly does it do to tell the phone to capture a photo?
Using selfie stick to take selfies
Hello!
“Selfie-Stick” first used and made popular by sports enthusiast. This become very common specially countries where Facebook is so popular. It is considered the simplified version of a tripod or monopod stand for old camera.
This extension arm or pod is inexpensive and durable. In using this stick you just hold the near tip of the stick and push the “Remote Shutter” to capture still images or moving images. It is just a simple device. Same idea with remote control. The difference with this is that it’s like your extension arm to push the shutter in the smartphone screen.
