Error updating Kaspersky Rescue Disk image

Hello experts,

I am here to criticize the Kaspersky Antivirus Software. Recently I have installed from the real CD, license key as well as everything. When I try to update it, I get an error message:

Error updating Kaspersky Rescue Disk image (could not download Kaspersky Rescue Disk database from the Internet. Probably network connection is missing or there is not enough space on hard drive).

Solutions available

Do you want to continue without update? 

I need to solve this error. Please help.

Error updating Kaspersky Rescue Disk image

Hello Marriane,

I am sure you are getting something like the one indicated in the image below, right? Don't worry, you can solve that.

What you will need to do is the following:

• Select NO in the error message window.
• You  will need to ensure that your internet connection is active.
• If you are using a network cable you will have to ensure that it is connected properly to your computer.
• The problem may be also as a result of less disk space on your computer. You will therefore need to ensure that you have enough disk space.
• You can also try creating a rescue disk one more time and see what will happen.
