Google Drive is a great alternative to MS Office, Dropbox and such. It can be used for sharing files, for sharing documents, work online and much more.

For example, you can send large files to anyone with Google Drive. Generally, Gmail supports only 25MB file for attachment, but with Google Drive, you can send files that’re larger than GBs. For each free account, Google provides 15GB online space that can be used for everything.

Another great thing is, you can have a large workspace online with your friends or clients. You can share any document, spreadsheet etc. and all can work in one file at the same time. As it’s online, everyone will be able to see the latest changes made by it. Even version history is also available, you can revert to previous version.

There are add-ons for Google Drive that provides much more flexibility to work. For example, there are add-ons for picture features, for converting to different version, for merging and lot more.

You can also ensure security by restricting people not to show your docs. People can be specified, only they can see the doc.
