What is the best disk wiping software? I need to clean up my hard drive and other private local disks and I need the best quality of disk wiping software, can you name some and also give me some website url to check it. I hope you can recommend a safe download. Thank you.

There are many software for this purpose you may try Mil Shield or Eraser they are probably best in business. You can use CCleaner as well. Kill Disk is another good software to use. Try one of these they are verified and tested by many users and have good reputation.

What is the best disc wiping software?

To wipe the disk, you can use Diskwipe. Diskwipe is a free software. There are algorithms in this program which are predefined. These advanced algorithms are used to wipe the data.

 

Diskwipe writes randomly selected meaningless data over the data you want to wipe. Not only that, it does the same thing over and over, according to the direction of user. This ensures a higher level of security of the data.

 

This program works not only with USB disks, but with any device that can be used as storage for memory as long as it is formatted with NTFS, FAT or FAT32. It works even with some cameras and MP3 players also.

 

Diskwipe comes under EULA License and uses DOD 5220-22.M, US Army, Peter Guttman, etc., advanced shredding algorithms.

What is the best disc wiping software?

There are many data wiping software available right now. If you are looking for free tools, you can try the Darik's Boot and Nuke (DBAN). Download the ISO file on a bootable disc and it will wipe system outside OS. Active@ KillDisk is also free but it is limited to a single pass wipes with zeros. But you can always upgrade to PRO version. You can also use Eraser which can help you wipe selected files or folders, recycle bin, free spaces manually.
