Compress WAV files to reduce its sizes

I have tons of WAV files that I need to compress to reduce its sizes. How can I do that?

To which file format should I compress WAV to decrease sizes?

What software is free that I should use to compress it without reducing the quality of the sound?

Any advices will do.

Compress WAV files to reduce its sizes

Hello Jodie,

One of the best formats that offers the smallest size to video files is the FLV format, in which you can find a lengthy video of only 10 MB. It is the format that is popularly used for uploading videos on youtube because of the smaller size it offers for videos. So I will suggest that you convert your WAV videos to FLV format of you want them smaller.

There many softwares for converting videos from one format to another online, but in this case I would advise that you search for a WAV TO FLV VIDEO CONVERTER on the internet and download, and then use it to convert your videos as you want.

Hi

So you want to reduce the size without reducing the quality of the file. Actually it is impossible. If you reduce the size somehow it will also reduce the quality of the sound. The thing that we can do is minimize the effect that it can do.  

FLV format is a good option to reduce the file size with the minimum effect of reducing the sounds.

About the software thing are like this. There are lots of converters, yes but they are not good. I found an amazing converter name “Format factory”. You can download the free trial version, but it is limited. So you will need to purchase it from their official website to enjoy using the unlimited version.
