I accidentally downloaded software from a website. When I try to uninstall it, I couldn’t find the software in control panel list. Is there any other way to uninstall it from my computer? I hope you can help me. Many Thanks.

Unable to locate Downloaded File
You cannot uninstall the downloaded files as you must install it first. The downloaded files will be there as it is, it would not be installed on your computer.
Go to Downloads in My Documents to search for the file. If you use Internet download manager, click the its icon in the task bar and you will see a list of all downloads. Look for the files you downloaded, right click on then and select Open Folder. You will be taken to the folder where it is located.
Or if you downloaded using the browser check the downloads by clicking the tools menu and click downloads.

Unable to locate Downloaded File
Hello Ashley,
That is a bit strange because all installed software should be in the control panel under add/remove programs. Are you sure it was a software or an update to some program that you were installing, because if it an update, you can see it but only the original program in the control panel.
But alternatively, you can try checking if the program is present under the installed programs in a folder called 'program files' which should be in the primary hard drive. If it is there, just open the folder that it is in, and look for an uninstallation set up in there and execute it to remove the program, or just delete the whole that has the program.
