Can anybody help me on this? I just started GIS and DIVA-GIS. I presumed I had to create a directory called "environ" . I have downloaded DIVA-GIS as well as the weather data and added them to C://program files/diva-gis for the climate data, is this right? If yes, I would like to know why I can’t get the data appearing? In fact I cannot get the downloaded data working. Did I miss any process(es) to make this data work? Thank you in advance for those who would help me.

Can I get data I downloaded work for my DIVA-GIS?
Hello Robbin Mayers,
So you just took the file and embedded it in the directory on the primary hard drive in the program files as you have shown above, and did to any installations? I suspect that there are installations that need to be done for you to get the program running and so that you can get the data appearing.
If the file you have placed in the program files is a .exe file I will advise that you cut it and paste it on the desktop and then double click on it to start the installation process. When the installation finishes see if you can be able to see the data as it is supposed to appear.
Hope this helps.
