My company is using an outside provider to host our email. The incoming emails go through POP3/SMTP. Our Exchange 2007 server is being used for internal email, calendar, and SharePoint. Can you help me to set up hosting for our email on our own server without changing the domain name currently being used by our company?
Anyone can help me to set up hosting for our email?
To host the server without changing the domain name, follow the procedure below:
-
First you will need to open the Exchange System Manager.
-
And then you will navigate to the Recipients folder, and then you will expand it and then go to the Recipient Policies.
-
You will be required to right-click on Default Recipient Policies, and after that choose Properties.
You will need to have a look at the Exchange System Manager message which will pop out and then click Ok. The information the message carries is about plan that is supported to make changes to this filter. You can run the Apply Policy Now option if you are contended with the plan
For you to test the new Recipient Policy, you will need to go to one of your recipients and then from there you will see if the new e-mail address has been listed in the recipient's properties.
