Stop this script error – How to solve it?

Hi

Irregularly when I am trying to use the Internet Explorer, I find a dialogue box showing on the monitor saying that: “Stop running this script?

A script on this page is causing Internet Explorer to run slowly. If it continues to run, your computer may become unresponsive.”

Normally this occurs when a few scripts take an extreme amount of time to start to inform me.

I need to get rid of it and also prevent this error message.

Please help. Thanks.

Hello there buddy, 

Your problem is a very common problem with Internet Explorer. The reason for this problem is some of the scripts take some time to run that's why the Internet Explorer prompt the user that there is a problem with the script.. This is very easy to fix. And Microsoft provides a solution for this kind of problem.

To resolve the issue that you're getting, I will suggest you to run the automated FIXIT that you can get from the link mentioned below and check.

Another workaround to the issue that you are getting will be to go through the steps mentioned in the link and check.

• A problem could be in the HTML source code of the web page.
• Active scripting, ActiveX controls, or Java programs may be having problems on your computer or on the network. Note that Internet Explorer or any other like an antivirus programs or firewalls may be configured to block Active scripting, ActiveX controls, or Java programs.
• An antivirus software that you have may be configured to scan your "Temporary Internet Files" or "Downloaded Program Files" folders.
