Change from Windows to another Windows
Hi all,
Hi all,
Hello Limadeson,
You can choose either to upgrade the Windows 2003 to Windows 2008 or just get a new version of Windows 2008 and perform clean installation on your system. You will then need to configure it afresh, adding the domain users, but having done the whole process in Windows 2003 it should be easier to go about the process using Windows 2008.
In Windows 2008, so long as you did not change the domain settings for instance the workgroup names and others, then you can successfully transfer the domain settings from Windows 2003 to Windows 2008.

If you are not able to configure a server then you need to make a backup for your current server and then you can install the new one. It is easy to install new Windows 2008. If you simply want to run a network then you can configure if easily. You need to format the previous one and need to install the new one over that.
To see how the new window will look like or how it works you can make a trial yes it is possible you need to purchase a VMware work station and first install the new copy on that program it will show you how to work on windows and than you will be able to implement the new window as you require.
You see how easy it is. You can now install your new window copy easily. I hope you will be easy to do that.
