Problem with the Skype Updation

Hello experts

I have searched in Google to solve the latest edition of Skype updates, but it is not succeed, even after maintained and utilized the command field to fix the issues.

 

Error

The installer has encountered an unexpected error installing this package. This may indicate including a problem with this package. The error code is 2738.

                                                                                OK

 

Urgently I need to fix this as it has an effect on daily work of mine. 

Please help.

Hi Robert,

You might be getting this error because some installation files might not have updated properly.

I would advise you to uninstall the program and reboot your system.

Then install Skype again. Your issue will be resolved. 

I am providing you with a link.

Just click it and install Skype. Your issue will be resolved.

Problem with the Skype Updation

Hi,

The reason for this is a script that could not be found in your system.

To solve this, go to Accessories under the start menu. Then select Command Prompt.

From there, right-click and select Run As Administrator.

   

A black DOS-based screen will show up under C:WindowsSystem32

There are two things you need to type:

cd %windir%system32then press Enter

Then, regsvr32.exe vbscript.dlland press Enter again.

A message should appear that you have succeeded then click OK

This should solve your problem.
