I am recording certain addresses around a specific area and it would be easiest for me to copy and paste. If I use Google Maps, can I copy and paste the addresses in an Excel spreadsheet, and would it require a lot of formatting? I haven't had luck trying this but maybe someone knows some tricks I am missing. Thank you.
Can I use Google Maps to find addresses?
Yes of course, you can simply use Google Maps to find addresses of a certain location and it is possible to copy paste those on a Excel spreadsheet. Really, it does not require a lot of formatting. Yet it is time consuming & might have to face restrictions sometimes.
Nevertheless, it is possible to export the page into an excel file. First append "&output=kml" to the URL's end, download the file, again change the extension into an XML file & import it to Excel as follows,Â

Go to Data tab >> From Other Sources >> From XML Data Import >> Select the file
