No Detail Component database specified

Hello,

At opening of the “detail component manager”, I receive this error message shown in the screenshot. I attempted several times to add information on Aec content; but I could not do so. Can anyone please help me in this regard?

 

AutoCAD Architecture 2012

There are no Detail Component database specified.

Please set databases at the Aec Content tab in the options dialog.

No Detail Component database specified

Hello Robert,

While working in AutoCAD Architecture2012 and get an error message is often occurs. To access the detail you have to go Detail Panel option from the Home tab and then click Detail Tool Palette then Detail Components. You have to access the detail database from tool palette then from the ribbon. To fix this problem you have to open your software and option dialog box by typing Option at the command line. Select on the AEC Content tab and from the Detail Component Database go to Add button for navigating to the C:/ProgramData/Autodesk/ACA2012/enu/Details/Details and click on OK to finish the process. I hope this will help you otherwise you have to Reset your software by run Repair/uninstall and then reinstall it.
