I’m deadfully sorry, but Photoshop is about to die with a NSInternalInconsistencyException exception (because Error (1000) creating CGSWindow)
Photoshop CS5 is deadfully sorry for error 1000
The error means there is a problem with your OS installation and the API or the Application Programming Interface is failing. It means that there is something in your OS that is hosed seriously. It may be a corrupt file or bad utility. So try to turn off or remove any system utilities that you just installed. Uninstall/Reinstall Adobe Photoshop. If all these won't work, backup all your data and reinstall your OS, as you may be having a disk damage, a virus, bad RAM, bad CPU and etc.

Dear User,
If you have installed DMX update, try re installing that update manually
Also you can easily fix this error simply by reinstalling your application again
NOTE* when you re install it. Make sure you have successfully removed the existing Photoshop cs5 form your system.
And make sure to use a different setup file.
Thank you

That message is really odd and you will not expect Photoshop to throw it on you as a normal error. But according to Adobe support, they actually put that message in Photoshop and designed to be thrown for early system errors. The error is likely to be thrown when a system error is detected even before the user interface is ready or the full operating system API is initialized.
Basically, the error indicates a serious problem with your operating system installation which is like the OS APIs that should not fail are failing. If you encounter this problem, it’s either your operating system or the disk has a problem. You should check your computer for errors. Run a disk utility on your computer to check for problems.
This error indicates a problem with your operating system or hard drive and not with Adobe Photoshop.
